Smoke Haze on Puget Sound

The smoke blowing south from the British Columbia wildfires has created a smoke haze that totally covers Puget Sound and obscures the background islands (Kitsap Peninsula) and Olympic Mountains. This shot was taken yesterday morning looking west from Lowman Beach. This guy in the kayak is heading south to Lincoln Park Beach where people are fishing for salmon. I will post the photo tomorrow. Needless to say the air quality is terrible causing some people to have sore throats and eyes. Thanks for stopping by.

When will that haze and heat go away! Awful not to be able to see the spectacular Olympics.

People need to watch out for the health effects of that pollution. I've been talking to my sister about it. She lives up there.

Looks so minimal but so much there...the horizon line is so effective to break up the tones and still be within them.
