I visited the Barton Street P-Patch a few days ago. Neighborhood volunteers grow flowers and vegetables and tend the P-Patch. This dahlia's colors were eye-catching so I took a quick shot. Thanks for your visits and comments. Have a great day.
@s4sayer Official meaning of a P-Patch in Seattle: "A P-Patch is a parcel of property used for gardening allotments; the term is specific to Seattle, Washington. The "P" originally stood for "Picardo", after the family who owned Picardo Farm in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood, part of which became the original P-Patch. (A folk etymology attributes it to "pea patch".) This particular P-Patch I visited is planted and tended by neighborhood volunteers.
