The distance across Puget Sound from where I stood on the Lincoln Park lower trail to the mystery boat is about three to four miles. I asked around about this boat but no one knew anything about it. I took this shot a couple of days ago on a rainy, misty Monday. Thanks for stopping by.
The mist certainly adds mystery. Is there not some sort of log recording boat traffic through Puget Sound...which is in the public domain? Boat spotters as in train spotters? Am intrigued.
@s4sayer I still have not found any info on the boat. The boat was traveling at a fast clip around the islands...very close to shore. The day I took this shot it was a high tide. In this shot, the boat was passing the Kitsap Peninsula heading south toward Vashon Island. Also, there are no people to be seen on the boat which makes me wonder if it was somehow being tested...who knows.
a lovely way to travel, maybe a ferry boat.
