Boo was sitting in Bennett's chair and leaning his chin on the kitchen island counter top so that he could be included in the conversation taking place between me and my nephew-in-law, Kevin. Boo is a sociable cat who loves attention and conversation. This photo was taken yesterday during a visit with my niece and her family.
We had a female, very similar called Midnight aka Midi which translates as Midday. A wonderful cat who accompanied us to V. She used to sit in the lane at dusk and watch for mouse activity in the earth bank of the field...until one night she didn't return. We searched...again and again, in vain. We think she must have been taken by a fox.
@s4sayer That's a sad story. When I was about ten years old, our dog, Skipper, disappeared one day and never returned. For months after his disappearance, I would stand on the front porch of our house and call his name until I understood he would not be returning.
