For the first time in a very long time a lot of Lake Ontario is covered in ice. Down at the edge we found this pile of ice sheets - as we stood there the water underneath started moving gently causing the ice to break sounding just like breaking glass. The top layers then slid out onto the ice further out. Absolutely fascinating!
