My word for today is SHINY. I was not sure how I was going to do this, but life has a way of helping you out! I was awakened at 4am by the flashing lights of a police car outside our house. Later we heard that there was a gas leak a little further down from our house and as we were returning from our walk we saw that a car had jumped the curb and crashed into two houses rupturing the gas main.
Obviously this was someone going far too fast, perhaps getting away from the police as the driver fled the scene. It was a fairly new SHINY car - and there was my picture! (Actually this is only one of several pics I took!)
