UNIQUE

My word today was UNIQUE - still not able to really get out and walk much yet so I needed to find something unique in my home.

This Inuksuk was made especially for me by a dear friend - the Inuksuk is an Inuit symbol for 'I was here' or 'This is the way.' It is also the symbol on the Nunavut flag. In the Arctic they can be many feet high and balanced very carefully - how they build them is incredible and it is forbidden to destroy or take down an Inukshuk.

I love the Inuksuk symbols. We saw some when we were in Alaska a few years ago. Incredible. This is done very well with amazing DOF to get that smooth golden background.
