It has now been a year since I finished the work for my Masters in Viking Studies. I remember feeling a little lost (actually it was a whole lot of loss) once I had handed in my Dissertation - 3 months of intense work now finished, reading, writing, learning while staying in Kirkwall. But it was also the end of an amazing year of reading, writing, learning, stretching, growing, challenging......
Maybe now I can take my Dissertation off the shelf and read it again to see if what I wrote is any good.
I miss my Orkney family so very much - thank you for being there for me so many times during that year and especially when I was in Orkney....
