I think this just about passes as an h&h but I had to include it as a diary entry. Our palm tree was very obviously struggling after the cold winter and had also developed a leaf disease and we were pretty sure we'd lost it. However, we took advice from the garden centre and cut of all the masses of leaves just leaving a bit of new growth in the centre. Over the last week the leaves have shot up and yellow flower buds very quickly appeared and have bloomed in the last couple of days. I'm just so thrilled to see that the tree is thriving and looking happy again! 😃
