Light and Lampshade 3.2.12

This is part of the lamp in my kitchen. Today I found out that I got a 97 on my Pre-Calc test I took yesterday and I only missed one question. It was just a careless mistake. 14 people in my 3rd period failed the test and my teacher was very disappointed. He told us a story about himself and his childhood today instead of a regular lesson. I don't really have any homework this weekend and I'm taking the ACT on Tuesday. I'm a bit nervous but I think I'll do great.
You did a great job with this shot. The focus is good and the composition makes good use of the Rule of Thirds. There's texture from the woven part of the lamp and the color is warm due to the orange and yellow tones of the lamp. Congratulations on your Pre-Calc test. I'm sure you're going to do just fine on the ACT test. Great shot!

I really like this. Makes me think of when people lived in the sides of mountains, in little caves. You will do fine on the ACT. You seem like a smart kid. Good luck

Great shot! I like the abstract look of this. Congrats on your Pre-Calc test. I think you will do well on the ACT. Just use whatever techniques you use on regular tests and on the practice ACT tests that work for you and you should do well. Some people find pacing to be an issue with the ACT, so you might think about the time limits for each subtest and how you will deal with the pacing. Each person has to find own technique for this. The good part about the ACT is that you can take it again to raise your score (unless this has changed since my son took it).
