This is the assignment I had to do for my Foundations of Graphics class.
The following sketching activity will help you to start to develop your visualization and provide you with an opportunity to manually sketch a 3D object on a 2D plane.
Create a pictorial (3D) sketch of an object at home from your point of view, use one BLANK HORIZONTAL sheet in the back of your GC120 Worksheet Packet. Do not sketch a top, front, or side view.
Sketch an additional view of the same object from a different point of view.
Try to incorporate shading or color as best as you can for a more realistic representation. Submit your sketches in class.
I chose my computer mouse as my object because I thought it would be easy to draw. I drew it from my point of view as well as from the top. I went on a couple of errands with my mom and sister and that was pretty much all that happened to me today.
