Birds in Front Yard Closeup

These are some birds in the front yard. Does anyone know what kind these are? Maybe blackbirds?

Blackbirds are very large- these look more like Boat-tailed Grackles- or possibly cowbirds. It's hard to tell from this angle- but I think they're grackles.

Good capture. Do they have brown coloring? If so, they are probably cowbirds. One looks like it has a brown head. Often, the various blackbirds (grackles, starlings, and even robins) migrate together here. I always have difficulties figuring out the bird species when they do this.
