I wasn't sure whether to leave the context in or crop to the plane - this was Wednesday morning - timings are odd, so rather than another coffee in McDonald's before taking into sports session because the library isn't open that early, I took my student to watch the planes take off and land at London City Airport from Royal Albert dock (DLR stop). I liked the way the propellers show here
Thank you all for looking and commenting on my pictures. I know from doing this before how long it takes to say thank you individually and I'd rather look at your pictures. I don't get much time during the week either, so any thank yous will happen at the weekend.
@johnnyfrs it brightened up later - but when we were there it was pretty grey - today it's bright now, but I'm inside looking out - walked through showers at one point
@michaelelliott I was the other side of the dock - so far enough away not to be that interesting! We get very good views of the airport from quite a few places
Better with the airport and surroundings! I forget what you teach..... You take students to the airport?
And...do not worry about thanking me! I think if we all just took that time, and went to,others' photos, left comments, had conversations on discussion boards, read up in challenges going on....it would be better.
@shannejw - it's funny my brother was just asking me about doing airport shots but here is very difficult to get within miles and homeland security everywhere.
