This had a fairly central histogram and I've gone for the range of greys rather than the high key / high contrast I wondered about.

The shadow is amazing on this. I am obsessed with bottles. I don't collect many but I have a few. Maybe I will try this challenge. And I need to read how to read and use info from a histogram. I have no clue right now...I know what it IS, but that is it.

However, your selfie must have a piece or an element in black and white (if you do this in Feb it can all be b&w for your month, but after the 28th only an element can be in b&w)!! Apart from the simplicity, which I really like, I love the emotive feeling you have captured. It is almost as if the flower is talking to its shadow. Great shot.
