Birds do it ...

Sorry - usual mad catch up in progress. Spring is sprung and I don't wonder where the birdies iz - I can see and hear them billing and squawking, loudly when it's a pair of magpies in the trees opposite the tube platform where I got dumped part way home.

@mzzhope magpies - and yes, corvidae - they are very very noisy and acquisitive, lots of stories and fables about the thieving magpie.

magpies are one of my favorite birds but we don't have them here. they are clever, though.

We get magpies a lot where we are, steer clear when they're nesting! Vicious little buggers that won't hesitate to dive bomb!

Our Magpies are pied and have a lot more white in them. Beautiful songbirds though. Interesting fact: A Queensland Magpie cannot communicate with a Tasmania Magpie despite them all being one species. They have variations in their languages.
