I'll put this at the proper date later, but I do like this one, so I'm going to inflict on you lot too. Taken on Lunga on a day trip to the Treshnish Islands and Staffa.
We went to some of the Inner Hebrides for the May half term, but with laptop crashes, Opera as the only browser that would load for a bit and various other things, I'm being slow at uploading anything.
Welcome back, stranger - and what a shot to come back with! I've never seen a Puffin but it remains a dream... and then you come up with this character shot. Awesome, just awesome!
@carolyns It is a puffin - you can take a boat trip to one of the Scottish islands where they live and walk right up to them. We were lying on the ground behind them, about 3m away watching and photographing them. I have so many photographs, including pictures of them checking me out. Tourists are a good deal because we keep their predators away.
