There for an abortive attempt to go to see the Tallis Singers in the new Jacobean Theatre at the Globe. We had tickets but neither of us was feeling very enthusiastic as my daughter only arrived home from a month's travel the night before and I'm still not feeling brilliant from the chest infection. So, with a 15 minute delay waiting for a tube, we arrived just too late to go in and were waiting outside for the latecomers break, with my daughter falling asleep on my shoulder and me coughing. We had standing tickets in the gallery and were allowed in, but another latecomer was getting quite upset that her seat in a place she couldn't go in, so we gave up one of our tickets and went home for an earlier night, taking pictures on the way back. (I really wanted to see the theatre but there are other things they've just put up for booking that I want to see more)
