I dithered about posting this composite shot from 28 January, because I was pleased with this on so many counts - that I was standing near enough to these goldfinches to see and hear them - there were about 30 of them; that I could take pictures in the open on a compact camera; that the composite worked OK. But I'm also trying to post a photo a day on the day for my own rules, at least in January (and I need to sort out the photos I took on Sunday when my Get Pushed challenge meant I posted a photo from earlier in the week), so there is a photo from yesterday posted in December 2018.
Three good things:
1. I managed to make 18 or 19 willow rings for dream catchers from the willow twigs I collected yesterday - these are for Guides to make for a handicraft competition, and we're trying to do this on a shoestring. I'll need 25 - 30, so nearly there.
2. Nearly cut a pair of pyjamas out of what I suspect is vintage cotton winceyette in a mint green with grey paisley pattern - nearly. Now planning entertaining fabric combinations.
3. Managed to adjust a blouse pattern to fit me
Thank you for looking and getting the black and white drive and the sunset tree to the PP. You're all amazing. I try to look at pictures rather than thank you all individually here.
