This is for the Flash of Red February leading lines for this week and the Abstract challenge which finishes today - this is the stone arch around the church door.
Because I haven't got out to take pictures of steam trains on lines (daughter wasn't well enough), I am also tagging this for the Dogwood Challenge which this week is for: Composition: Leading Lines
It is easy to use Leading Lines to show depth in an image or guide the eye to a specific spot in the image. Instead, this week use leading lines to show the concept of infinity.
About the Compositional Eye category:
“In past challenges we have explored the rules of composition. This year we push the rules even further by using them in specific ways to train your compositional eye.”
Three good things:
1. lots more energy today
2. next shirt for my daughter cut out and ready to go
3. lots of warm sunshine-y weather - it's been glorious again.
Thank you for looking and all your brilliant comments and favs. You are all amazing. I try to say thank you here and by looking at your pictures rather than thanking your individually below.
Good job on your three-fer. This shot works perfectly for all of them! And I do think it's a very apt shot for infinity as the curved lined seems to go on forever after it leaves the picture frame.
