I am not sure that I'm going to be able to do this for a whole month, but I lacked enthusiasm for going back outside again for photography today (and I'm banned from having daffodils in the flat). This is a collection of blue bits and pieces on a blue scarf - mostly fair trade and homemade metal free jewellery (because I'm allergic to nickel)
Three good things:
1. Masses of fruit and vegetables today - cavolo nero soup for supper followed by nashi pear, and savoury rice with broccoli and carrots for lunch followed by melon - 8 or 9 portions from the recommended 10
2. Dressmaking continues apace (slowly around the stinking colds)
3. February walking wasn't as bad as I thought it would be around the disgusting cold
Thank you for looking and your comments and faves. I prefer to look at your pictures rather than thank you individually below.
They're very lovely- the color reminds me of the ocean here (well, not Pennsylvania, but over in New Jersey). The day's meals sound very good! My pho-jo was quite slo-go today too!
@stray_shooter some of those bits are turquoise or petrol blue, nearer cerulean rather than cobalt blue, but as the next rainbow colour is indigo, which is nearer cobalt blue (I have no intention of taking a month of Sundays in pink), I went for cyan blues to give a contrast.
@summerfield the marbled beads at the back, yes, that's FIMO, with plaited embroidery silks for the thread, the blue beads at the front maybe came from Biba, - that's on a leather thong and definitely dates from the 70s, the glass pendant is from People Tree, and the sea green beaded panel is from People Tree, Oxfam or Traidcraft.
