Coincidentally the photos taken earlier this week seem to have a floral theme. One of our cats is clearly unimpressed by the hanging basket display outside. Since birds do not feed off of it, it clearly is of no interest whatsoever. She is a black smoke Devon Rex, a breed that has only an undercoat of fur - very short, very soft and curly. The breed has a very striking appearance, and are sometimes called "Monkey Cats" (she was a remarkably agile climber in her youth), "Alien Cats", or by at least one member of my family "Weirdy Cat".
