The sun sets behind a construction site. This is currently 18 storeys high, and four more storeys are still to be added. It is destined to be student accommodation, one of many brand new halls of residence in the city built by private developers. Students seem to prefer such accommodation over rented houses,possibly because the rent is all inclusive, making budgeting easier. Landlords of privately rented houses close to Universties are finding it hard to find tenants. Maybe the long term result will be cheaper rented accommodation for families.
Really nice photo. It doesn't show how much this new building will stand out - there aren't any others anywhere near that height on the surrounding streets.
