Woke up to heavy rain and high winds, and so waited for the sun to come out before walking the dogs. The first part of the walk was lovely. This tree is about as far from home as we get. The sky behind it doesn’t look very dark, but it was, and getting darker. The wind began to gust, the heavens opened, and we were engulfed in cold driving rain as we trudged back up the hill towards home, getting increasingly soaked and muddy, with the wind roaring in the trees around us. As we got home, the wind dropped and the sun came out again. At least I know that my new camera case is waterproof.
