Lady's Smock by shepherdman

Lady's Smock

Lady’s Smock, or “cuckoo Flower” as my wildlife book assures me is its correct name. The book also informed me that the flower grows on damp grassland. I didn’t need to be told this –after taking the photo I completed the rest of my walk with large damp patches on my knees.
Aww! They have just the slightest hint of pink to them! Very nice macro!!

Yes, super shot. I love this little flower, well worth shooting despite the damp patches!
