A busy dog walk this evening. We set off around the quarry, and came across runners, which is not unusual. Then more runners. And more. I found a marshall, who told me that this was the first “Croft Hill Run” organised by a Leicester running club. These “glowing” ladies (as everyone knows, horses sweat, men perspire, and ladies glow) were the last to pass, and definitely had an expression that said “It seemed like a good idea at the time…”
