During most evenings in most summers hot air balloons take off from the sports field across the fields at the back of our house. There haven’t been many balloon flights this year – sunny balmy evenings have been in short supply. This evening was warm, bright, and without a breath of wind, and the first flight that I have seen in a while took off. I was pottering in the garden, and took the opportunity to have another play with my wife’s new camera… I really must let her have a go with it!
Great shot! Do the dogs mind the balloon? Our whippets used to hate them ( they come over us too) but we haven't had any this year so don't know how Bertie would react.
