There are few large pools of water in the fields, generally away from the footpath, hidden in a dip. Nevertheless our rescue dog Ta seems to know exactly where to look. By the time that I have realised why she is suddenly sprinting across a field, she is leaping around in several inches of water, to return home smelling of wet dog.
