Autumn Celebrations

Autumn is celebrated in style here. Almost a month to go and most houses are already decorated for Halloween. We passed hundreds of pumpkins and ghosts during a stroll today, and corn mannequins are also common. "Oktoberfest" is held over the next few weekends. Maybe the locals make the most of the warmish weather (which today was very gloomy) before winter arrives. No street parking is allowed here after October - the roads must be kept clear for the nightly visit by a snowplough.
Great shot, so typically N. American! I love the wreaths on their doors and those pots of Halloween coloured flowers are wonderful! Well spotted!
