Shadows at High Noon

Even just after midday the shadows are long at this time of the year. The sun just seems to drag itself a few feet above the horizon, go west a bit, and head back to bed. I know the feeling. The sunrise is not in the east, nor the sunset in the west – each has a distinctly southerly bias, and the north side of our house remains in seasonal shadow for weeks.
Amazing leg length!

Longest shadow legs I've seen! Agree with you about sluggish sun, hdns going to roost about 3.30 pm on cloudy day!
