In comparison with the last few days this morning, at least by the time that I was out of bed, was relatively mild, especially in the sunshine. Last night’s rain has expanded the existing floodwaters – I am sure that this area of young rape has been under water since November. This morning’s weather was of the teasing variety, warming us with pleasant sunshine, before pushing it aside with large black clouds blowing from the east which threated a sharp shower, but never actually delivered. The dogs had a wonderful time playing in the water as me and my wife happily pottered with our camera’s, experimenting with different exposures and other options. It was one of those walks when whatever precautions were taken, the dogs would get wet, muddy and smelly, and so we just let them get on with it, to their delight.
You summarised the weather conditions perfectly - exactly the same here except we did have a couple of short sharp showers. Temperatures positively balmy at the moment! Superb immense sky here, made even bigger by the great reflections!
