Wild flowers thriving over cultivated

Primroses, presumably wild rather than cultivated, since they are in a field hedgerow. I’m sure that they are still in flower later this year. Normally at this time they would be dwarfed by tall flowering rape in the adjacent field, but this year the rape is not much taller than the primrose, and has only tightly closed flowers.
Beautiful - they seem to be more plentiful than usual this year.
