A thirst well slaked. by shepherdman

A thirst well slaked.

Few of our walks include path-side drinking facilities, or cattle troughs as they are otherwise known, and the dogs know precisely where they are and make use of the farmer’s hospitality. I was quite impressed with our rescue dog Tia while we were in Cornwall a couple of weeks ago. In a field that she’s never visited before she spotted a cattle trough in a far dark corner, and headed straight for it. Like the drinks available at a well-stocked cocktail bar, the various troughs offer drinks in a wide variety of colours – in particular various shades of green and brown, and, very rarely, crystal clear. The dogs seem to appreciate a bit of variety.
heeheh, good thing dogs are not picky.
