On the rocks by shepherdman

On the rocks

We stopped for a riverside walk while on our way to visit the village of Beddgelert, and we decided to try some long exposure shots of the flowing river. Shepherdmans Wife had brought her tripod for the purpose, but since I had the dogs, quite enough to manage without additional equipment. Instead I steadied my camera on a handy riverside boulder. It may not have been as level as a tripod, but it was certainly a lot sturdier, although really long exposures were out of the question. I know this. I tried.
Nice shot! Next time, harness the dogs up and get them to carry the gear!

Lovely shot, there's a softness in water and sense of movement which fits perfectly to the stream

I use rocks, logs, fence posts and the top of my car all the time! I think your creekside boulder did a great job! Great capture of this river!
