A watery morning sun – sadly this was the best part of the day and by the time we got home it was raining steadily. Every now and then we are teased with a dry day or two, but then, just as the squelchy ground is improving to merely “soft”, down comes the rain again, turning the footpaths back to the consistency of porridge.
