No doubt this log, which we found in the “cows Field”, had been discarded by someone else’s dog. It was subsequently collected by our dogs who ran around with it before leaving it by the stile for the next canine visitor – true recycling. The “Cows Field” is currently cow-less, with high lush grass, and judging from the wheel tracks around the edge, the farmer has been checking the fences in preparation for releasing the imminent release of the cows into the meadow, which will restrict the dogs ability to run around in the field.
