From the other side

Many of our walks take us past the old brick barn, but a favourite early morning walk before work, especially once the field edges have been mown in mid-summer, is around the other side of the field, with open views across the countryside. The dogs really love the stubble, especially younger Tia, who spots crows feeding on the spilled grain, and charges off across the field to chase them. The crows merely flap lazily off for a short distance, before settling again, by which time Tia has spotted another group of birds, and has sprinted off in another direction. Well, at least she gets well exercised.
great shot, love the leading lines.

Your description is wonderful, I can picture clearly poor Tia and her doomed to failure mission. This picture is beautiful. Great lines and color and all the round bales.

The lines are fantastic -- leading me into the scene as I go by the golden hay bales. Wonderful!
