@shepherdmanswife wanted riverside images of ripples and milky waters and so we went to a riverside meadow in the valley below the cottage where we are staying. The field was full of sheep, and I was on dog-sitting duty, and so to take their minds off of the surrounding fresh mutton we strolled along the riverbank, until we found a “beach” of grit and pebbles, where the dogs were able to have a paddle. I spotted this umbrella which presumably had been lost a significant distance upstream, since I we have(surprisingly) had no wind or rain during our stay in Wales.
