While @shepherdmanswife was busy capturing a swan, Tia and I went off in search of something more cooperative, and more dog tolerant, to photograph. The stream below the preening swan met the specification, reflecting the autumnal bracken on the river bank in the smooth water. At least the water was smooth until Tia found a far better way to enjoy the pool, jumping in to splash about, which put an end to my attempts at low light photography in the gathering dusk.
