After returning from her photoclub last night, @shepherdmanswife asked if I had seen the very large sun's disc on the horizon earlier that evening - she had found time to capture it before heading off to her meeting. I pointed out that, having been wrapped up in my own thoughts during my dog walk, I had only spotted it as the final sliver disppeared behind a hedge. That sun does move quickly at sun-down.
I love the sky and tree silhouetted in it. The sun actually is a little distracting to me - like when a light shines in your eye and momentarily blinds you.
