Wild pear. by shepherdman

Wild pear.

This is a wild pear blossom. There are three or four wild pear trees growing alongside the footpath that leads down to the village, and no-one seems to know how they. The fruit is very small, but perfectly edible - too small to be the result of someone discarding a "normal" pear and the pip germinating.
Beautiful. Really like the focus on this

The pears must be a gift to your village... how wonderful to get to see pear blooms every spring, and then the delicious fruit! Great shot.
