Whale watching

4 hour whale watching trip off Victoria, Vancouver Island. Absolutely brilliant. Water calm, cool breeze on a day that was uncomfortably hot onshore, and we saw humpback whales and orcas, as well as various sea lions and seals. We have an awful lot of photos to sort through! The trip was everything we hoped it would be.

Welcome to beautiful BC. I live on Salt Spring Island just a short ferry ride from Victoria. Nice capture. If you are in Vancouver, be sure and go to Stanley Park at sunset. There are some amazing shots to be had.

lovely shot...good reminder for me, we were there on a whale watching tour two years ago and saw lots of orcas - probably 50 or more...no humpbacks. such a beautiful part of the world...
