The other boat

Another image from our marine jpurney from Vancouver Island, weaving through smaller islands across to the mainland to see grizzly bears. There were two boats in our party - these folk struck lucky and got the mpre modern launch, whereas we got a 25 year old tub that smelt of diesel, but was nevertheless perfectly adequate for the job. Maybe more importantly, with an older more experienced vessel came an older more experienced "captain".
