At this time of the year I get a lie in (of sorts) and still manage to catch the sunrise during my morning dog walk, especially magical when the golden light illuminates frosty vegetation bordering the field track. When the sun's rays are low I can sometimes be seen circling around a particularly attractive wild plant watching the lighting change as back lighting changes to subtle luminance.
