Heat haze by shepherdman

Heat haze

Bonfire and fireworks at a friends farm this evening, under a clear sky and full moon. Being a farm, there was room for a huge bonfire. Someone had brought marshmallows for toasting. I think that it will be tomorrow morning before the embers are sufficiently cool to get close enough for toasting purposes.
Haha, breakfast marshmallows then! Great shot!

Impressive heat haze looks like the moon is melting :)

The French have wonderful fireworks displays... for Bastille day, our tiny village attracts around 5000 spectators for its 25 minute display which is always magnificent... but it's not the same without a good bonfire, so thanks for sharing this one.

At first I thought it was a Van Gogh painting! The heat haze has created that effect on the moon. Well captured.
