Power infrastructure

We have just one wind farm on the horizon, plus quite a few individual wind turbines around our home. For some reason I think that individual wind turbines wind turbines enhance the landscape, although I may feel differently if we had an an array of turbines, a wind farm, close by. The pylons are always annoying, They seem to get in the the way of so many views.

Nice shot with the low lying mist. I also find the wind turbines engaging and have used them a few times. Less so with pylons although they still add some interest to the scene :)

the recession on those verticals is nice - don't mind a well placed pylon myself!

The powerline pylon looks so ominous compared to the wind turbines.

We have a lot of wind farms and individual wind turbines here in Cornwall. I really do prefer their looks to the ugly pylons....

Lovely shot! We have a substation close to were we live and the lines always 'block' the view on Moel y Gest, a hill close by. I guess we have to live with it :-).
