Spotted a bird perched in a high branch, silhouetted against the sky a short distance away. \p\robably a crow, I thought, possibly a pigeon. Even @shepherdmanswife with her sharp wildlife-photographers eye, couldnt make out the detail. With no binoculars, just my camera I zoomed in to photograph for identification purposes, and it promptly took off. Kestrel.
