Tia and I were a little way behind @shepherdmanswife and Cody towards the end of an autumn walk, when I spotted this carpet of leaves illuminated by clear morning sunshine. I took a few shots from a few vantage points - I dropped to my knees for this one. Looks like a peaceful scene, but it wasn't. From the trees to my right came the loud call of @shepherdmanswife demanding to know my whereabouts, and reminding me that there were jobs to be done at home.
