We are staying in North Wales, part of the UK which is often wet even when the rest of the UK is dry. Much of the rest of the UK is wet, and North Wales is wetter, and so each evening I search the Met Office web site to avoid the rain - today it directed us to Dolgellau, 20 miles from our holiday cottage, where we found a walk that climbed through forest up above the town. It may have been rain-free, but it was somewhat damp and gloomy.
