Some of my lavender bushes are now "over", the blossoms turning brown. I began to remove the dead flower heads but was distracted by bees on the adjacent bush, still in flower. I decided that it was more relaxing just to sit on the sunny grass verge at the front of our house for a while, and watch the bees.
