I didn't always love practicing my violin in middle/high school. But working in a profession where I don't have many outlets for creative expression - or many opportunities to meet new people - has given me a newfound appreciation for my days spent playing in school and regional ensembles. Today I went to my first audition in 10 years (!) for a lawyer orchestra (yes, I know...) here in LA.
